not great for yom tov, it says each 3 inches above the clip burns for an hour, so you’d need 72 inches of candle above the clip for each 24 hours

Zal

Ye, and how many inches can stand straight above the clip?
May not even work for a shamash, unless you keep pulling it out more.
But a cute candle anyway.

who cares

Do you have to feed the candle so it doesnt go out?

Sim

If it self extinguishes, how can you use it for more than a few hours?

I don’t think this candle can burn for 80 hours without assistance. Meaning, every so often (how often?) you’ll have to feed more candle through the clip. The question is, how much candle can you feed through so that it will burn a sufficient amount of time before the flame reaches the clip and self-extinguishes? I believe it will need to be at least 1-1.5 hours on Friday evening and at least 30-45+ minutes the other 6 days of the week.

Does the shammash need to burn that long too?

not sure why but I went ahead and ordered it and it came full of dust and i didn’t think it’s worth the money so I initiated the return and amazon said to keep it
