I did the math. In my house we use light bulbs for 18 hours a day, meaning it would last us 3 years.
@18 years, ha?:
All of your bulbs are in use for 18 hours/day?
This week Costco has a similar bulb 6/$6.99, after instant rebate of $8.
@Mikey:
Nothing like that online.
In-store LED rebates vary by city and state depending on whether your locale subsidizes them.
@Dan:
3 hours a day is fine for a closet or bathroom. It’s absurd for a kitchen or family room, basically false advertising. It’s like saying a car gets 1,000,000 mild to a gallon of gas, IF you only drive downhill.

@Better deal:
No reviews. And a different color light.
Non-dimmable, may be a factor for some.
Amazon also have the day light for the same price, click the link Dan posted and choose day light.
@Dan:
Sure there is!
Costco through google express sells “Feit Electric LED A Lamp 60W 6 Pack” for 7.99
And they are dimmable!
@Mikey is right: I’ve had very poor experience’s with Feit, particularly from Costco. Many have died within a year.
On the other hand, I’ve never heard of TCP lighting before, either.
@Dan: You can purchase on Costco using Google Express for $6. It’s become pretty common and the sales are there for long periods at a time.
I’ve used these TCP ones. They are fine.
@Anonymous: It’s actually an instant utility rebate that happens to be taking place in the Costco that google expess gets it from. And in my opinion, FEIT is the best brand on the maker and google express has the best prices on them.
@Sam: I personally have experimented with lots of LED brands and FEIT was much better than the others in my opinion. In terms of brightness, color, life and quality. I never had a FEIT bulb die on me but I definitely did have plenty of other brands die after a very short time. Plus even if their was an issue, you can always return it to Costco:)
@reb yid: whatever it is, you obviously don’t realize that regular incandescents have about a tenth of the life span of these. So you can laugh all you want, but LEDs are the longest living bulbs on the market!
@18 years, ha?: go do the math for a reg incandescent before you start laughing.
Hey Dan can you teach me how to respond to many people in one comment like you do, so I don’t look crazy replying to ppl in all seperate comments? Can I just copy paste the weird stuff that generates when I click reply, and then type the comments after each one?
@Joe:
I think you answered your own question there 🙂
