While there is no mention of the offer via the link above, Patrick from frequentflyerbonuses sent me the original email from Fairmont that mentions the offer and has the enrollment link above with an embedded enrollment code. A screenshot of that email is below:
Terms:
-Please allow 4-6 weeks for your Bonus Aeroplan Miles to be awarded to your account.
-Only existing or new Aeroplan members who join Fairmont President’s Club between August 18 and November 15, 2016 will receive the bonus miles.
I miss the days of BMI when they instantly awarded 1,000 miles for enrolling that were transferable to BA. Got several Cathay Pacific first class tickets from that 😀

I didn’t see where to enter in the Aeroplan number either and forgot to enroll in Aeroplan first. Instead, I first enrolled in Fairmont President’s club and then enrolled in Aeroplan and then updated my profile in the Fairmont Presidents Club and added my aeroplan number to the optional preferences section. Hope I receive the miles…
