Acer Aspire 15.6″ Core i5 Touchscreen Laptop For $359.99 Shipped Via eBay Daily Deals

Hi everyone, I am looking for a computer for home office that should be able to do several things while on wifi and do them very fast. Is this a good bet? How does it compare to HP 15-ay013nr 15.6″ Full-HD Laptop (6th Generation Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD) with Windows, which is on Amazon for 459 ( I realize it’s 100 more, but my question is if it will be much faster) if someone knows about comps and can pm me what I should be looking for that will also be greatly appreciated, thanks

Down for me too. I thought it was my browser, I guess not.

@Roni: The processor on the one on amazon is slightly better. However the SSD drive will make it much much faster.
If you just need to do basic things on the laptop both would be perfectly fine so i would recommend buying the eBay one because of the price, and then upgrade to a 256gb ssd for $80(Samsung 850 evo). The performance difference will be slight.
This is all just on paper, you should really go and compare both laptops in store because you might hate the keyboard, screen, touchpad, and s million other things.

@Roni: Also, the amazon one has a sharper screen. But says nothing about the colors and viewing angles etc. But the ebay one will be fine too, 1368 x768 kn a 15.6″ screen is enough pixels, just won’t be as sharp, especially if you are used to sharp screens

@Roni: If you do not need a laptop i would reccomend buying a desktop, much cheaper and much more powerful and easily replaceable.
