Very nice store and great staff.

Yosef

What’s the price range on their regular black fedoras?

yaakov

Is this bencraft?

Simshi

No. Not bencraft. Borsalino have their own now

Anonymous

@Yosef: 285 – 260 – 190.

That’s wjat the guy said on the phone

Shloimy

Hey , lets not forget what Borsalino said when they were asked why did they raise their prices so much, and their response was “WE (The Jews) were going to pay for it even at the higher price”. SHAME ON BORSALINO. Just because they now located in a Jewish area and put on a little lipstick is more of a reason to go to any of the other finer stores that have been here for us all these years.Just for the record I don’t wear a hat or work for the competition or live in N.Y.
Sorry Dan you have to check out the advertisers a little better

Neighbor

@Shloimy: Please provide more info on where you read the quote “WE (The Jews) were going to pay for it even at the higher price”

Also please note that this establishment is in my area where I live and also have my business in that area, the Borsalino store is fully staffed with yidden. While the Borsalino store is branded as Borsalino it is in fact owned by a frum shomer shabbos yid who also owns the ones in Eretz Yisroel.

@Shloimy, please check your facts before you post something negative about someones business in public especially if it is of no concern to you.

@Shloimy: The Borsalino fedoras are quality made, Itlaian fur hats, not just any hat. Prices rise for various reasons definitely not for the one you provided (think import taxes rise/ hiring new Jewish employees/new brick and mortar stores…) I think the fact that they are a Brand Store and in a central location appeals to people more. You get it straight from the factory for a better price. The store is really nice and the staff are great, not like some other Brooklyn owned heimesh companies. Tip if you take care of your hat it will last longer. In my opinion this is a good deal.

The alter rebbe

@SHLOMIY.
It’s because of people like you saying such lusson hara. The bais hamikdush was destroyed

Neighbor

@The alter rebbe: Please keep your harsh judgment to yourself, if you don’t have anything constructive to say then don’t say anything at all.

Also please don’t say people like you who say loshon hora as a category on its own, I think many if not all people say loshon hora with or without realizing it, and please don’t say that you have never said loshon hora before so you are not in that category as you will also may be a Liar.

So if you had said loshon hora before then you are just as much responsible for our golus as anyone else. Instead of blaming others for the destruction of our Holy Bais Hamikdush please take a moment to reflect on your flaws and take it upon yourself to correct them before passing judgment on others.

ben

hi to all the people that wear hats the store on ave j “borsalino” is sellling LOW QUALITY borsaalino hats, they will charge you $280 and up for a hat that is not worth the price, there are other brands less than the price of borsalino and much better quality. borsalino cut all the jewish stores in ny and dont want to sell to the jewish market..
