is this good for challah
We had very bad luck with this particular product. The motor quit after about two years of moderate use. We were unable to find anybody to repair it. The local Hobart service center, which used to service Kitchen Aid, told me they could no longer get parts. Sears told me the same thing.
I would only buy another Kitchen Aid mixer form Bed Bath and Beyond, which will accept returns almost forever on products they sell.
That being said, it will do a fine job on challah until it breaks.
Kitchen Aid is great for cakes, but for challah you need to divide your recipe in half.
