[I once flew Ukranian Airlines from Kiev to Paris and (unlike some other coments here and elsewhere) it was a pretty decent airline. Nothing to fancy but definitely not bad.

while searching for the Ukraine flights, I found flights from TLV-JFK for $685. In June. 1 stopover of a few hours. KLM, and Alitalia return.

Do not be surprised if the flight crew has been drinking prior to and even maybe during the flight. It is not a good time to be flying through the Ukraine
I would spring for the extra money to be assured a safe trip.
We flew in 3/15 in time for Purim. The price was excellent. Do not fly 1st class-it does not pay! You get there the same time. Adequate but nothing fancy-but that price you cannot beat it. Hopefully there will be peace in that section of the world!

Hi, I am trying to get my family to Israel for Sukkos, and because of the caendar with yom kippur on Wednesday it’s proving to be a challenge. Thanks to this I did find on Ukraine that possibly could work, anyone flew through Ukraine? I’m nervous it’s really dangerous. Or any other ideas on how to get them here for sukkos? Thanks
