    Wait, so technically we can open this card, then book ourselves a 300 dollar ticket, and then cancel the card before we get the fees?

    I AM JUST CURIOUS CAN YOU ASSUME THAT IF THEY SAY AFTER MY APPLICATION “We are currently reviewing your application. You will be notified in writing about the status of your application within 30 days, as required by law.”
    THAT YOU ARE NOT ACCEPTED?

    Dan — Where does it list the Frequent Flyer & Hotel Programs you can transfer to at a 1 : 1 Ratio? I’ve looked everywhere, even downloaded the 16 page pdf “Card Benefits” document, & I cant seem to find it.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Dan what are the maximum amount of amex cards you can have – I just got denied and they wrote I have the max amount – should I cancel some cards so I can churn?

    @Todd:
    There’s a picture of the transfer screen in the travel/transfer points section here:
    http://demo.chaseultimaterewards.com/?demo=2&shell=I&chapter=0&source=sapmsT2

    @Daniel:
    “Rewards Check
    Use points for a cash-back rewards check starting at 5,000 points for $50.”

    @c:
    I’ve seen reports of 2 or 4 AMEX cards being the current limit.
    If you want a different card or want to churn you’d have to close it down and wait 30 days before reapplying.

    Dan thanks for the link to the Picture of the Demo Transfer Screen, but I am still clueless as to what programs you can actually transfer Points to on a 1-to-1 Ratio.

    I’m not interested in which programs you can redeem for gift cards, but which Loyalty Programs you can Transfer Points to 1 to 1. Anybody have any clue? Any help is much appreciated!

    THERE IS NO 1 to 1 TRANSFER FOR HOTELS WITH THIS CARD!

    Just got off the phone with them. What you get is a $100 voucher per 10,000 points toward a stay with Marriot, Hyatt Etc. When I compllained about this, they didn’t have any response.

    Why not?

    @Fitz Mitzvah:
    Right, Chase must be lying when they advertise the 1:1 benefit on their site.
    Obviously the single uninformed phone rep you reached must be correct…

    Right you are, Dan – There is a transfer option, point for point for just the following:

    You can ONLY transfer to the following programs, the rest are vouchered as I mentioned before:

    Continental Airlines,
    British Airways
    Marriott International
    InterContinental Hotels Group – also mentioned on flyertalk the possibility of Southwest – not sure how, though

    (1 Ultimate Rewards point = 1 travel rewards point)
