For every 2 stays at any Starwood hotel between 05/01/09 and 07/31/09 you will get a free weekend night good at any of the more than 875 Starwood hotels that are in categories 1-6. The only Starwood hotels that you can’t stay in with the promo award are the 15 super-exclusive category 7 properties and 4 all-suite hotels.

The free weekend night can be used on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights between 05/01/09 and 09/27/09.

There is no limit to the number of free nights that can be earned and you are able to use multiple free nights during a single stay.

    Does this work for rooms booked using priceline or other third party booking sites?

  3. juniorbochur Says:

    hey dan. do the first two stays have to be in the same property?

    ReplyReply
  4. Dan/Ctownbochur Says:

    @moshe:
    No, it’s only for paid stays.

    @JustDownTheHall:
    It will not work for priceline/hotwire.
    It should work for regular 3rd party sites, but considering that spg.com has a best rate guarantee why wouldn’t you book directly from spg.com?

    @juniorbochur:
    No, they can be in any property.

  6. justDownTheHall Says:

    @Jeff. Try Weekends which tend to be cheeper and search on SPG. It will show you all properties in the tri-state area by typing in the basic metro areas (NYC) and further out in Connecticut and NJ if your interested.

    If you book a room and do not show up, will it qualify for the free weekend night award ? If that doesn’t qualify, can I send someone else to use the reservation. If you use the Starwood 50% off coupon, will that stay be eligible >

    Call the hotels and ask for a day rate, most of them are cheaper.

    But do day rates qualify?

  16. levi Says:

    #1. If you book a res and don’t show up it will not count as a stay.

    #2. You can book a res and have someone else check in and it will count as a stay.

    #3. A res using the 50% off coupon (spg50) will not count as a stay.

    #4. From my past experience day rate do give you stay credits.

    As far as I know the 50% off coupons only get you 50 off full rack rate

    2- What hours would be considered day rates?
    3- Would the hotel guarantee you that it would be a eligible stay?
    THANKS!!

    you can booc at the four points in Arizona for $64 per night 4/25-5/23 totla cost $2106 which gets you 15 free weekend stays.

  23. eli Says:

    Elie, there are 2 problems. Unless you live in Arizona, you have to fly down there for 4 weeks. Secondly, since they are consecutive nights it would only count for one stay.

    ReplyReply
  24. E Says:

    You could check in and out every day for 4 weeks , of course you’d have to have 4 weeks to spare

    ReplyReply
  25. Dan/Ctownbochur Says:

    @E:
    Actually you can’t.

    If you check-in on consecutive days you’ll only get 1 stay credit as they will be lumped together.

    You would have to check-in sunday, check-out monday, and then check-in tuesday, check-out wednesday.

    Alternatively you could also check-in to a different hotel on that monday and keep switching back and forth every day between hotels.
