LeapFrog LeapPad2 Power Learning Tablet (Plus A Free Game?) For $69 Shipped From Amazon

Update: They have changed the free game link to a free backpack, which is working properly now.

LeapFrog LeapPad2 Power Learning Tablet Linky

This was $89.99 yesterday on Amazon and is now the lowest price ever.

There is also a promotion to get a free game via this link.
However the discount for the free game is not being applied automatically at checkout as it should be.
People are reporting that you can order it with any game via that link and then chat with Amazon customer service to get a refund for the price of the game. If you try that post a comment and let us know how it goes!

After providing link to promo Amazon responded in chat “I can certainly understand! What I’ll need to do is send our promotional department an email to let the know this promotion didn’t apply to your order. They need to be the ones to help you on this since they handle all promotions. I’ll get that sent right away with all the information needed and they will email you back in 1-2 business days.”

@Anonymous, I think you’re right. I tried it with the backpack and it’s working and giving the backpack credit, making it free.

to Miami Guy and RH, I placed the order for leappad2 and for the backpack and the game. I received right away the discount for the backpack but the game they charged me, I called them up and they credited me for the game without any questions.

@bg: I canceled my order. I placed the same items back in my cart and I called Amazon. I told them other people have reported getting the game for free, so they applied my account with a “one time $20 credit” and in my cart all 4 items (LP, backpack, gel cover, & cars 2 game) dropped to $73. Thanks for the tip and hope this helps others…
