Earlier today USeless Airways published cheap fares to/from Hawaii and all 3 of Continental’s hubs throughout the end of their schedule.
I didn’t post it because it was a fake, they had published a great fare but they allocated exactly zero seats to the sale!
Nevertheless Continental felt the need to protect its fortress hubs and just matched all 3 of the fares. And they actually had the class to allocate seats to the sale fares!

Unethical, yes.
But then again this is USAirways we’re dealing with…
There are programs that allow you to check for fare code availability.
