You would’ve thought that’s 1080p with a 15.6″ display… so fair warning: its the standard 1366×768. 1920 x 1080 is another $150.

Dan

@yankel:
1080p on a laptop is actually terrible. I’d strongly advise against it as it makes text size to small too read. Maybe on a 17″ laptop it would be OK, but I’d have to see it first before buying it.

Hi, I dont know much about Laptops. I would like to spend about $700-$800. I am only using it for web browsing so I want it to be very fast. I will also use it as Dvd player. Should I take this deal, or should I go for a diff one. Please advise. Thank you

Dan

@Joseph:
This sounds like it fits your bill perfectly!
It will be super speedy for any web browsing and plays dvds or blu-rays.

Joseph

Thanks Dan!

I got one of these last year around this time. It is a pretty good ‘bang for your buck’ deal, with my one issue with this being that it got hot and noisy (fans) way too quickly.

@dan:
