Airlines are once again on the fence about flying to Israel. United only returned to Israel last month after a hiatus since October 7th. The airline quickly moved their crew out of the country on a ferry flight to Munich after the Iranian attack and has been evaluating a return on a day by day basis. United tells DansDeals that, “We continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions on upcoming flights with a focus on the safety of our customers and crews.”
Other airlines, like Lufthansa are expected to return on Tuesday.

I’m planning to fly Emirates from Washington to Dubai and then ElAl from Dubai to Tel Aviv, leaving Sunday and arriving erev chag.
@Dan – I’ve been using the ITA Matrix search tool to look for available flights. However, consistently every time I saw a flight and asked a travel agent to book it they said its not actually available. Often this was seconds after seeing it appear on the ITA tool.
Would you know why this is happening??
It seems to be something more than the simply someone else buying the flight before me…

No luck with those either. It just seems that the ITA search tool has just not been updating effectively. Not sure why that is though.

In the past when searching on ita I’ve had the same issue. There’s a little check box to show all flights (even sold out, not just available seats) and I’ve noticed that sometimes it’s checked off automatically
