Tom

A ticket at the Rock and Roll hall of fame ($28 + taxes) costs more than a RT ticket from Newark to Cleveland. Crazy times

Izz

EWR to RSW is $17.10 each way as well.

EWR to TPA or ATL is $25 each way.

All nonstop too.

I wish some of the love was shared with JFK / LGA too on the other airlines.

ari

I looked at car rentals in cleveland and they seem to be thru the roof in august (over $100 a day.

Izz

Also, Jetblue has matched many of the dates from EWR to AUS for $17.10 each way.

joel

booked my family of 8 rt to clt for 168 just for the ride !

Tom

I give you credit. You dont mind taking care of 8 kids thru security and on a plane for the fun of it.

eli

some “underprivileged” kids would have the time of there life ..probabbly behave way better in fact

Sillypainter

Just booked a couple of seats for my family in August to explore DD town.

Moshe

Is there a way to use ultimate rewards points and get the United explorer card benefits? (I have both cards)

Meir

Good question

Meir

Anyone can advise of a Hyatt in Cleveland that’s walking distance to a Shul ?

DDF\'er

https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=1343.0
-There is a new Hyatt Place in Legacy Village within walking distance of the Jewish community, though it’s located just outside of the Eruv. It costs only 5K points/night.

Meir

Thank you!
I have googled the distance from that hotel to the Chabad, takes about 1 hr walk ? Or there is a closer Shul? It’s a category 2, it should be 8k points but that’s OK

DDF\'er

That was a quote from Dan’s wiki on that forum. I have never been there

Meir

Thank you Dan, you’re the best!

Tiger

Is it Shabbos friendly, I mean electronic locks, electric eye sensors, etc?

Nechemia

Please keep in mind, most of cities mentioned here, you must self quarantine coming back to New York and Jersey! So cheap tickets right now isn’t worth it!

Mergs

Also frontier has many $11 tickets from Newark. You can go to Las Vegas and back for $22!

johnny

why would anyone put their life @ risk for $12 plane ticket?

B. Schubert

Can you still bring on a full size carry on bag on board if the ticket is purchased with a mileage plus credit card with a name different than on the ticket?

MM

United doesn’t let you choose a seat for this price ticket – if you do the “extra seat” ticket will they let you sit next to it? Thanks!

SwellCindy

What is the “extra seat” ticket, just purchase 2 seats?

AH

Is there a way to get free luggage with my united card and also be covered with CSR travel insurance???

East Coast Scott

Some of my kids have no summer. If you can guide me to the best website for things to do in Cleveland, I would pay this fare just to say we were able to do something.

East Coast Scott

Thanks. Very thorough. Besides Cedar Point and the Indians (vs. Coney Island and the Mets?), we have similar things here.

Rachel

I don’t see $17 tickets from Newark to Nashville? It comes up as $34 (for August)

Adina Tyberg

where is better to go with kids Nashville TN and drive to different cities or Cleveland?

Adina Tyberg

So where is better for kids. More to do in Tennessee or Cleveland????

Izz

EWR to MSY (New Orleans) is now $14.10 each way for many dates, nonstop.

Glenn

Hi Dan! I was all excited to get a $17 ticket from Newark to Ft. Myers to see Mom, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. The cheapest flight I’m seeing between JetBlue & United is $83 for Nov. 18. Have the cheapy seats been taken? I don’t see a special code. Am I doing it wrong? (Not spending too much money is good for your health, btw…!) 🙂
