apparently, the promo only worked when it was combined with some personal courtesy credit that I had with amazon from a previous transaction…weird.

Ordered $500 in gift cards. Hour later, was informed they suspect someone stole my password, my order’s been cancelled, account locked out for five hours.
Interestingly, it was after I tried to combine Amazon GCs with other GCs. When I was able to log back on, that ability was limited; they allowed me to do so, but limited the discount to the cost of the other items.
That’s why $400 and $100 split maximizes.

I just bought the Echo Show on sale for $129.99, and then bought an Amazon gift card for $370.01. Got $100.00 off. I also got $5 credit for delaying next day delivery. This didn’t work for me. You need to use AX to pay for (I believe) the entire order (except for the one Membership Rewards point) in order to get this offer.
How did you do this? It’s not letting me use Amazon gc credit and redeem MR on the same purchase….. If you could explain how you did it, I would really appreciate it. Maybe it’s only if your gc balance is less than the total amount being charged?
