Ending June 30th: American Express Membership Rewards Transfers To Southwest.

Membership Rewards Point Transfers

June 30th is the last day to transfer AMEX points to Southwest.

24,000 AMEX points gets you 16 Southwest credit, which is enough for a free round-trip.

If you earn 100 Southwest credits in a year you get a free companion pass. So if you transfer 150,000 AMEX points to Southwest you will get 100 credits, which are enough for 6 free round-trip tickets, as well as a 12-month companion pass.

As long as there is a seat available on the flight your companion can travel for free, there are no capacity controls on it.

The free companion ticket is even available when you are traveling on a free award ticket!

After selecting your companion, you are able to change the name of your companion up to 3 times.

Personally I’d rather redeem those AMEX points for a couple of business class tickets to Europe or South America, but if domestic travel is your thing, the cattle call of Southwest doesn’t bother you, and you travel with a companion then this can be a great option to take advantage of before it goes away tomorrow!

You need to clear your broswer’s cache and cookies to see the 15K offer.
Or try using another browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
