American Express is always running fantastic promotions. Along with their incredible purchase protections it makes having their cards quite valuable.
Of course the big one is Small Business Saturday. While this year’s promotion only offers $10 of free spending per card it will continue to work on authorized user cards which are free with cards like the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express, the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express, or the Blue Cash Preferred Card® from American Express.
Frankly I’m happier with the promotion being $10 and continuing to allow authorized user cards to participate than it staying at $25 but disallowing authorized user cards.
At any rate here are the current offers I see when I login to my AMEX account, click on my Starwood card, and then click on “Offers for you.”
Be sure to save the offer to the card you want to use before spending on the card.

You can buy a $79 physical gift card or a $79 eGift card and get the $20 credit!
Both cards can then be used in-store or online and never expire.
-Spend $100 or more, get $20 back at Rue La La through 12/31.

Could be useful if they have any decent sales this holiday season.

For the Amex – Walmart promotion, do you need to tweet anything to get that? Or you simply charge your card the $79 and you will get back a $20 statement credit?

Note: WalMart GC’s can also be used at Sam’s Club and samsclub.com (according to T&C’s)
I’ve looked at all my card (include 3 spgs [both mine and my husbands]) and i do not see the walmart offer. I see everything else though.

went to walmart site, so easy to spend on things you need.
instead of going to buy kitchen stuff/papergoods/cleaning supplies in store and carry it home, wm will bring to your door, price are great, and offer is an extra gift. thanks walmart, thanks dan!

its not always what type of a card, marketing target different individuals based on their shopping and general history. (returns maybe? etc.) marketing would post to some accounts, some offers. calls do not help, its beyond CS ability.

I got offers for sharperimage.com,whitehouse black market, I didn’t get the staples offer although my wife and mother got it. I called twice and each gave a different answer. The first one said it is targeted and I can’t get it. The second one said it will show it(or please get off the phone with me because I am not going to do anything for you). The funniest offer I got was for duxiana beds. If I spend at least $5000 I get $1000 back. Yea because I was planning on spending over $5000 on a bed.

@Esther:Go to page where you see statement balance, recent payments(I believe it is home page) go towards bottom. Look for offers for you.(Latest transactions/Your membership/offers for You) click on offers for you.click on offers available for card.click on save offer for the offers you want. Done.
I can now comfirm BP works multiple times and walmart works for gift card.

Not showing up on any of my 4 Starwoods cards, though it does show up on my Blue Cash cards. Online chat help said they couldn’t add my cards, it’s an offer targeted to specific cards.
