I used the Amex offer as well which was expiring tomorrow.
Does the Amex offer work on gift cards?
Unfortunately, I don’t think so. I read the terms of the deal and gift cards are excluded. I ran into the same issue with the Brooks Brothers offer and Amex wrote back to me with the terms that explicitly excluded gift cards (which is why I was more careful this time).
