Last month, Bose released brand new Ultra Noise Cancelling Headphones and Ultra Noise Cancelling Earbuds. These feature incredible immersive audio that follows you around as you move your head or walk around. The results are very impressive and the noise cancellation and aware modes are better than ever.
Personally, I prefer the manual on-off switch and volume control on the Bose QC45s to the push button and the volume slider on the Ultra headphones, but overall the new immersive audio and noise cancellation make the headphones a worthy upgrade. The headphones are noticeably more comfortable than the Noise Cancelling 700s that they’re replacing, though perhaps they’re not quite as comfortable as the QC45s.
They don’t come cheap though.
