Only thing is it says it will be delivered 8/22
IMPORTANT NOTE: These are grey-market, non-legit keys that are being resold and come from either MSDN or a volume license contract and violate the terms of those licenses (despite the fact that Woot is an Amazon company, and you’d think they’d know better). They may stop working at any time (and grey-market Office keys do get disabled by Microsoft when they find out, leaving you, the user, stuck).
This makes me a little uneasy about this deal. Can anyone back up this claim, or know otherwise?
Are you sure this is grey market? I bought mine from Tech Republic $30 and I have it registered with my Hotmail account. Also, normally it goes for $40. The grey market keys usually have you go to a website to get an activation code. I was able to activate mine on Microsoft’s website.

Good for lifetime of a laptop? What happens I change laptop after 2 years? Do I need to purchase another copy?
The software can only be installed on 1 computer. It registers the computers components. If you change your hard drive, it won’t be an issue. If you change the motherboard, then you have an excellent change of needing to buy a new license.
Are you sure? I think that’s a windows license. I’m pretty sure you can transfer from one computer to another (not more than once in 90 days).

Dan, I’m not sure your links take me to the product you wrote. The first link has Mac only in the product title, (though, lower down it does say that it’s also for PC). The second link only says PC in the title, (though, lower down it does say that it’s also for Mac). So be careful with what you buy. Also, both pictures only show Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook, but not Access and Publisher. So people should just be aware.
Other than that it says it’ll only be delivered on 8/22, I’m really excited to have gotten this deal. Thank you Dan!
