How does this compare to Wyze?

Akiva

Samsung – 24 hour storage, pay for more
Wyze – 14 day for 12 second motion-only free storage, pay for complete motion and AI tagging, SD card otherwise

Wyze can be viewed on Chromecast, or Alexa show devices

Bob

Worthless it will only record for 10 seconds at a time unless you have a subscription

Avi

Does it have a self storage option using a SD card?

David R

No. I don’t think it send video to a local NVR or hard drive either. It just goes to the company’s server in the cloud, where it might be hacked or subpoenaed or viewed by the company’s employees.

Avi

No local storage.

Yocheved

Does anyone use this as a baby monitor? Does this camera has the same poor security like wyze that someone in china could be hacking it?

Sharkman

What exactly are you doing on the camera that someone in china would be interested in the footage?

dumb phone

I’m very dumb technologically, what would I need to see video from the camera? can it be done with no smartphone? thanks

Sam

wyze is much better option

Simcha
