do you need a smartphone or any phone with Bluetooth will connect?
Seems like with Echo you do need one, as the following:
“To use your Echo Buds and receive the latest software updates, they need to be registered in the Alexa app using a smartphone with Android 8.0+ or iOS 14+.”
If you not using it with a Smartphone – there are better options out there.
Have to say I was super unimpressed with them. I had to download the Alexa app and do a whole setup with them and I was expecting at least some decent quality. Sound is okay and they don’t fit well in my ears.
The lag of connecting and tapping the earbud to pause and play lags significantly.
For the price point I’d rather go with a random no name brand from Amazon, or just go and spend a little more for better headphones.
