Chicco has long had the highest rated infant carseat, the Keyfit 30. It was a real pleasure to use and to travel with. We made the mistake of starting with a Graco and couldn’t believe how the Keyfit took away all of our frustrations that the Graco came with. That carseat is also 20% off if you have Amazon Mom.
I had wondered why they weren’t in the convertible carseat market but they finally joined the club this year with the NextFit. We’ve been using it for the past few weeks and it’s indeed a fantastic convertible car seat for when your infant outgrows their infant car seat. I’m sure that when Consumer Reports does their next Convertible Car Seat report that this seat will be right up there at the top of the rankings. It’s simple and intuitive to use and offers many conveniences that the other convertible seats do not.
But it’s no travel car seat. If you something light and compact for your toddler to sit and/or sleep in when you’re flying then you’ll want the Cosco Scenara convertible carseat. I wouldn’t recommend that for everyday use, but it does the trick for when you need something portable.

dan- just curious what grace u had and why u didnt like it? I had the graco 30 and prefer it a lot more than the chicco. the nextfit looks pretty wide, is it not?
the chico i think is not good for new born infants.
Is the B AGLE BE SAFE stroller & car seat a very good choice?

Among many items, the Keyfit is much easier to use latch with and the straps are a breeze to adjust compared to the Graco.

It is also highly rated and much better looking. The chico stroller looks bit ugly and i think it is too high for short woman like my wife?

And bought the Chicco adapter for it.
I don’t think there’s a stroller in the world as good as the Vista, it’s truly a jack of all trades.

The bonus 20% is on the Chicco KeyFit infant carseat, which you’ll use for roughly the first 12 months of an infant’s life.
how does this compare to the (currently top rated) britax boulevard? that one is currently on sale with amazon mom appreciation for a great price
