Hi there, anyone else recently stopped receiving the link portion to Dan’s deals in their SMS texts? For example, this is what I get sent to me:

DansDeals: Calphalon Espresso Machine With Tamper, Milk Frothing Pitcher, And Steam Wand Now Just $175.99 Shipped From Amazon After $176 Price (1/2)

Meaning I stopped receiving the second half of the text which has the link to the deal.

Anyone have experience with this blender and how it stacks up to say a Blentec or Vitamix?

I’m currently very happy with our Oster blender that I got for $5 on clearance from Walmart a year or two ago. However, everyone is raving about the Vitamix and I was tempted to pull the trigger when it was under $300 on Dansdeals but in the end couldn’t justify paying over 50x my current blender.

If this Blender really blends much smoother and quicker for $85 though, I would go for it.

We make a lot of frappuccinos.

Can I make potato kugel with this blender, or is it just for smoothies?
