Ukraine Air Suspends International Flight Operations

Effective today through at least March 31, Ukraine Air is suspending all international flights due to a Ukraine ban on foreigners.

They will be operating select flights today flying to Ukraine before suspending all international flights.

I’d expect the suspension to be extended further.

They say they are offering free changes for future travel, but you should push for a refund or dispute the charge on your card if your flight was cancelled. Note that if your bookings were done with a travel agent, disputes come out of their pocket, so it should only be used as a last resort as the travel agent will have to eat the loss.

If you show up at a land border perhaps they’d allow you in for the right price.
