Theoretically, you need 40K Hawaiian miles for a one-way business saver award from JFK to Honolulu, which is just 32K AMEX points with this promo. However business saver award is notoriously hard to find.

What is the cost in points Virgin Atlantic to Israel ?
Their award chart only seems to allow tickets to/from the UK, so it would take 2 tickets.

@Dan. IIRC you can also stage from Hawaii and use points for seata to AU/NZ(?) as another option for an award flight leg to/from So. Pac, or just ashorter more tolerable economy seat award leg if you can stage to/from Hawaii.

Anyone familliar with using them for Virgin Atlantic flights if a) hard for agents to see the availability and b) what the aprox taxes charge is for us-lon or vice versa? With virgin is normally about $550 per way for Biz.
