Check your AMEX Offers to register your Marriott AMEX consumer cards to earn 6 bonus points per dollar on US purchases at Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

That’s 8 points per dollar spent after the 2 base points per dollar spent on the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant card or the grandfathered Marriott Bonvoy card.

The bonus runs through 12/27 and there is a $3,500 cap.

I value Marriott points at about 0.65 cents each, so this like earning a 5.2% rebate in these categories.

If you have a Ink Business Cash® Credit Card Card or Ink Plus card you can always get 5 points per dollar spent at office supply stores on gift cards to stores like Amazon, Target, and hundreds more. I value Chase points at about 1.5 cents each, so that’s like earning a 7.5% rebate.

Note that Chase cards also have bonuses on Amazon, groceries, and Marriott hotels.

Will you take advantage of these offers?

Thanks Dan-I loaded $3500 at Amazon as a gift card to my balance. As far as Im concerned, Amazon is cash; Its ok for me to load up and let it sit until I use it.

Thanks for flagging this. At first I thought I might not use this as I want to use the freedom Q4 via Amazon and my PayPal Key (and I have three Freedoms to work through), but then I saw I’m also targeted for 10K Marriott points for spending $1K on that card so I may just switch to that for the next $1K as that would be 18 points per dollar 🙂

How sensitive is Amex for MC/Visa gift cards at Target and Walmart? I’m considering Manufacturing $3,500 worth of points.
