Last week, Hyatt announced major changes to their program, mostly for the good. But even the bad part was implemented with class and loyalty that only Hyatt seems to have.
It’s also worth noting that Chase World Of Hyatt Business Cardholders can open a Hyatt Leverage account for their business, and starting 1/1/24, they’ll earn credits for elite status when people use their booking link.
The program provides discounts for staying at Hyatt. DansDeals readers can receive a DansDeals discount by booking Hyatt hotels via this link.
For example, a room at the Andaz West Hollywood, CA will cost $212 instead of $277 for a rate with a similarly generous cancelation policy:

Hyatt will enhance this program with a new benefit for the account holder.
Beginning with stays that have a check-out date on or after 1/1/24, the Hyatt Leverage Administrator will earn 2 elite qualifying nights for every $5,000 in eligible spending, up to 60 Tier-Qualifying Night credits per calendar year.
Unfortunately, spending done by the Administrator will not count towards earning those additional elite qualifying nights. But it’s still a nice little added perk!

I’ve been an avid reader for a long time and I’m still in shock about not knowing about the DansDeals corporate code for Hyatt. Is there any disadvantage to using this code as far as points or elite night earnings or other benefits? I just ran a sample test and the DansDeals corporate code was cheaper than the standard, Member, Senior and AAA rates.
