Update 3/26/24: This offer is now available again from 3/26-4/2.

The T-Mobile MLB.TV partnership will run through at least 2028.

Originally posted on 2/15/21.

T-Mobile will once again offer their subscribers a free MLB.TV subscription for the 2023 baseball season. That’s a $149.99 value!

T-Mobile subscribers will be able to enroll in these via the T-Mobile Tuesdays app for Android or Apple on 3/26.

Once you’re registered for MLB.TV you can use the account on multiple devices simultaneously.

Note that streaming games from non T-Mobile phones can lead to the free subscription being terminated, though you can signup from a T-Mobile phone and then stream from non-phone devices.

Play ball!

Blackout restrictions make it kind of useless

Moish Picklestein

That is not true!
who doesn’t enjoy a good indians game?
agree @dan?

a

change ur ip address or something to alaska so ull never have blackout dates:) i never did it idk if it actually works..

Nuty

How do you switch your IP address?

Ben

VPN

B. Free

Any good ones that are free?

Kugel

Try using Opera’s built-in VPN. Never used it myself but my Norton VPN worked to get around blackouts.

Yoni

From my many users of being an MLB.TV subscriber, their IP detection is very good and picks up on VPNs.

yechiel

at bat app uses location to determine blackout restrictions and if you have fake gps enabled the app won’t load. Very hard to get around blackout with at bat app

Voice of Reason

From previous experience you cannot watch any local games.

YI

I got the free 5gb of data from T-Mobile with the mobile hotspot. Anyone have any idea if I can use that account to sign up for this and how I might do that?

a

i think only thru t mobile tuesday app works

TzviR

Are you referring to the T-Mobile test drive?

If yes, you can download the T-Mobile Tuesday app and use the number associated with the hotspot. (That can be found at http://mobile.hotspot/about/ ) and get the code sent to the number by going to mobile.hotspot/messages/sim_messages.html

You can then access T-Mobile Tuesday’s until your test drive ends.

Almost got it

I hit a snag on this. When I went to the info page for phone number it just says –. Did T-Mobile close a loophole by removing phone numbers for their free WiFi hotpsots? Anyone have an idea if there is a workaround?

TzviR

Last I checked it was still working, but my free trial just ended before yom Tov so I can’t check.

Make sure you are connected to the hotspot and logged into the info page.

Chaim

That photo never gets old.
@dan

pocahontas

MLB still exists?

dante

yeah, unfortunately, it’s still around. and, it’s run by dunces.

NotDansDeals

You can use a VPN to blockout local games but NEVER use a free one

A Yid

Why should you never use a free one?

Yoni

“Note that streaming games from non T-Mobile phones can lead to the free subscription being terminated, though you can signup from a T-Mobile phone and then stream from non-phone devices.”

So, which one is it? you can use freely from non T-Mobile phones or not?

Dan

Read what you quoted again?

Yoni

/ok, missed it the first time.

But also, the Title says Sprint, but the article makes no mention of their offer

Redbull3

Hey Dan you might already know this but IME you can stream from non-TMO as long as you are connected to Wifi and not the Verizon/AT&T/Whatever network

James

What about google fi subscribers?

Liam K. Nuj

I don’t think Google Fi is a T-mobile company, so why should it work?

Ben

up to and including 4/5? or expired yesterday…?

Mordy

Trump doesn’t let.

johnny

Atlanta, here i come!!

T Mobil

I had t Mobil before I switched to Verizon because the service got bad when u enter indoors did anyone of u have this issue
From what I know t Mobil is not really reliable

a

ive had it for 14 yrs. works great for me (NYC) as well as great international service

Marky

It depends where you live and which phone you have. They recently started using the 600mhz spectrum (band 71) which has greatly improved their indoor performance.

Chaim

Every time I go to the redeem page it asks me to confirm instead of excepting it start again does anyone else have the same problem

Jeff

I’d love to send a $5 Amazon GC to anyone who would send me the URL for the MLB subscription.

Chris G

Will they offer this to Mint customers now?

Ly

It’s back

Ari

What if i signed up last time already and signed up again by mistake?

Go STROS!

@dan the app was just renamed T Life.

Jake

Sad that there’s no MLS PASS (yet) this heart. Possibly the Messi Effect

points 99

I can help with MLS passes. contact through DDF

David

Is there an offer for MLS

Shmeelu

Note that streaming games from non T-Mobile phones can lead to the free subscription being terminated, though you can signup from a T-Mobile phone and then stream from non-phone devices.

Did you mean LOGIN from a T-Mobile phone and then stream from other non phone devices?

noturbizniss

How does one redeem this on a non tmobile device if purchased on ddf?
