Dan, First of all thanks for all your great deals. I am considering signing up to one of the cc offers starwood or united. Just wanted to know, does too many credit cards affect your credit score?? I would really like to know.

Yeh, I’d like to know that also.
If you’re buying a house this year or taking out a big loan, then i wouldnt recommend applying/cancelling any cards.
Other than that over the course of 6-12 months the dip you get when you apply/cancel a card will correct itself(assuming you pay your bills on time).
Personally i sign up for dozens of cards a year(the current gravy train of signup bonuses will not continue forever you know!) and my credit is still well above average, so dont sweat it!
