Flights connect in Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, S. Fransisco, or Washington DC.

You can always get off in the connection city if you aren’t checking luggage, so a one-way flight from PHL to LAS on November 10 can be purchased for $44 with a connection in Houston or S. Fransisco and nobody will stop you from getting off the plane there.

A one-way flight from PHL to LAS on November 12 via Los Angeles can be had for $68, effectively a nonstop Philadelphia-Los Angeles flight, but you’ll just have to UPS your luggage there or send it with another family member on a regular ticket there.

MAN

once I saw this deal online earlier I was hoping you wouldn’t tweet it this way I can decide what dates I wanna go. Now the whole shtut is gonna take the tickets. There’s limited availability.

Eli

Can leaving at the stopover cause United to ban me from future flights?

mose

do they give you back your stroller that you check at the gate? or does it go straight to final destination?

Dan

@Eli:
No.

@mose:
You can gate check it to the connection.

Eli

@Dan:

This may be an uninformed question. My apologies.

Around how many east to west coast flights does one need to get a free domestic roundtrip? Or are AA miles now all about price?

mo

Is their flights back to PHL from LA ?

JD

to this program should I deposit my UA miles now? It counts onlu 50% on TK now.

Slurp

Is there any loyalty program we can credit these miles to get full credit for miles flown?

Izzy

@Slurp:

Singapore.

JD

@Izzy I looked at Singapore’s chart and it seems you don’t earn anything by flying United N-class

Dan

@JD:
Correct, N is the one exception to the credit to Singapore rule.

JD

@Dan Any suggestion on United N-class then?

ash

is there any cheap way back to PHL ??

joetraveler

On a one-way PHL-LAS flight with multiple stops, do the short hops (SFO-LAX, LAX-LAS, for example) count as full elite-qualifying 500 mile legs?

Mark

I want to goto Rno from phl 26-30. Any suggestions? I see to Vegas with a stop over at San fransisco. How would you do it. I pretty much have united, ultimate rewards, AA, British, and Amex, and spg. Any suggestions ? If possible also fbusiness/first

Slurp

@joetraveler: YES. If you book on United.com after its ticketed check your reservation on ua.com should say exactly how many miles you get PQM and how many award Miles. As a 1k they have been crediting me the 500 min for EQM but not for the award miles. See it for yourself in the reservation summary.

Howard

any dates in august from philly to las vegas that stop in L.A for cheap? thanks!

san

any suggestions how to return ow san to lga/jfk?
any combination
11/1

Jay

Any flights from Houston to philly Nov 29?

Jack

Can i just use the 2nd part of the ticket? i.e. I book PHL-LAS with connection in houston and I only take the iah-las leg.

I know no one stops you skipping the 2nd leg, this is the opposite…

is it true Dan?

Jack, If you skip the first leg, they’ll cancel the second part of your trip.

Jack

Thanks. Even if I call united before and cancel the first leg?

Hate United

@Dan @Eli DONT USE HIDDEN CITY TICKETS FROM UNITED! UNITED CAN DEFINITELY BAN YOU FROM FUTURE FLIGHTS.

I had such a story with united. and they didn’t let me board the plane before i paid a penalty from $250.

i called united customer service to get a refund. The response from them was a letter in a hand delivered FedEx envelope that i should ‘cease and desist this immediately’. if not United will refuse to transport me on future flight.
