Qualified for the offer using my old Johns Hopkins email address that all Alumni are still entitled to. Didn’t buy the update though.

This is what the e-mail header will look like when you are eligible: “Congratulations! You are eligible to purchase from the Windows 7 Offer Store”
They then ask you to click on the link in the e-mail. I haven’t either bought the update yet.

Dan,
Where do you see that expiration date of 1/5/2010? Also does this mean that theultimatesteal.com deals also expire on that day?

i bought microsoft office ultimate though a similar promotion posted here. although in college, i didnt have a .edu email account. there were instructions on how to make myself eligible, including emailing a scanned copy of my current class registration. it took awhile but was worth the bargain, for me at least. good luck!

They require .edu address AND proof of current attendance. (I was ready to take advantage of offer with my .edu address but I graduated 10 years ago).

I don’t know about the proof of current attendance. I simply used my alumni forwarding email address and the link worked fine. I have the serial number and the ISO now… that’s all you need.
