Join Starbucks Rewards And Get A $5 Credit
Update: Today is the last day to enroll and get $5. The credit no longer appears instantly, it takes up to 3 days for it to show up.

To join you can either:
-Pick up a Starbucks Card from your local store and register it online. A $5 minimum load is required.
-Download the Starbucks mobile app, create an account, and get a digital card.
By using your card once you will also get 1 free drink (with no limit on its value!) or food item on or around your birthday.
Otherwise the program is pretty lousy, you need to use your card 25 times just to reach “Gold” which only gets you a free drink or food item after using your card every 12 times thereafter. Remember that if you are buying more than 1 item to pay for it separately as every purchase counts as a credit towards free items.

I wouldn’t say its lousy. You’re buying your daily coffee anyway, it’s nice to get a free one once in a while.

True, but the fact that it takes 37 purchases for someone starting until they get any benefits is very steep.
Was better when they had free soy+syrup.

lol i have the app, so I egift the money to my main email address. and then follow the steps from my gmail inbox to apply the gift to my “main” account.

whats stopping you is- jewish guilt! thats about it. so keep going until feel a lil guilty and then you stop at that point lol. my guilt kicked in after 3…but im tempted to do another 3. but its an administrative burden remem all my birthdays!

I downloaded the iPhone app and was about to add $5 but the lowest option is $10 so i decided not to.

I think the program is pretty good. I always take advantage by buying discounted gift cards and taking advantage of all kinds of promos. In January, every 6th drink was free.

why do u have to merge, take screen shots of all ur cards. then everyone that gets used delete the pic.u usually don’t spend more the $5 per time anyway.
