HURRY! Newark To Tel Aviv For $592.57 Round Trip On Delta And KLM Via Amsterdam!

Update, 12/24 : DEAD!

——————————————————————-

Update, 12/22: This deal is still alive!

-Bookable for select dates in January-March for $592.
-Bookable for select dates in April-June for $672.
-Bookable for select dates in August-October including the holidays for $672.
-Bookable for select dates in October-November for $592.

-There are some fares showing for even less than $592 but those are just giving error message when you try to book them.
-If you get an error message with one of the sample dates please post a comment with which dates.
-You can’t book this fare with an infant lap child. You’ll need to purchase the infant lap child ticket after booking tickets with seats.
-You can book kids or infant in seat tickets and those will be cheaper than adult tickets.
———————————————————————

-Bookable now on Orbitz, which offers regular mileage earning, price assurance refunds and more importantly free cancellations until 11pm ET the day after you book. (I.E. Book at 1:00am and have 46 hours to cancel for free), or you can book direct from the airline.

Don’t forget to use the best credit card for airfare:
-Earn over 5 points per dollar with Chase Freedom (up to $1,500 per quarter with registration), or 3 points per dollar with American Express® Premier Rewards Gold Card, or 3 points per dollar with The Business Gold Rewards Card® from American Express OPEN, or 2.14 points per dollar with Chase Sapphire Preferred.

———————————————————————

-Search from EWR-TLV on Orbitz.  This is with a stop in Amsterdam.  Some days have short and others have longer stopovers, but it’s a fun city to check out for a day if you have a long stopover.  See this DDF thread for info on kosher food and activities in Amsterdam!

-If you can’t find this on Orbitz then try PricelineYou can also try Expedia, though cancelling with them can be a pain and usually must be done over the phone.

Book now and think later, this will not last long!  You can always cancel tomorrow night!

    @ezra:
If something doesn’t work in life do you keep trying the same thing and complain about it or do you try something else?

There’s no need to buy an infant lap child at the time of making a reservation. Although realize that adding an infant will =cost you $100-$200, may be worth just buying them an adult seat…

    from Newark – Tel Aviv
    2/3/12 – 2/13/12 for $492.97
the flight is Newark>Atlanta>JFK and then direct to Tel Aviv

How about $492 from EWR to TLV–you just have to go EWR to ATL and then JFK and then TLV, but the flight back is non-stop to JFK, and then you just get off the plane. On Orbitz, still, at Sat. night at 6PM.

booked 2 reservation 9 tickets each when I went to cancel the first reservation for 9 tickets it shows that it will not credit $89.91 for the fees for the whole reservation.

    this is what it says on your link to cancel;

“Please note: The refund amount includes only the ticket cost, not any service fees.”

    $498 for

TLV-MIA (stop in JFK) on 02/12.

Fantastic find. Just really hard to find valid dates and no calendar option on ITA for multi-city.
Anything under $498 will error out.

But with this trick it comes out much cheaper and you can fly nonstop in JFK, claim your bags, and just throwaway the ticket to MIA.

on way to israel search nyc-tlv
on way home type tlv- (boston, washington, dallas , miami)…i played around until i used one. but u can get off in jfk and not even continue on to your stopover.

I think that all these ‘deals’ are really being sponsored by the israeli govt. This is part of their tourism push to get yidden to come to eretz yisroel. We are dumb enough to think its pricing errors and get all exciting and go running for it. Bottom line, every gains!

Just called Orbitz to add my daughter as a lap infant. They charged a total of $100.40 for the taxes. I would suggest calling Delta directly to add a lap infant as I had to call them afterwards to confirm and make sure everything was correct.
They told me that the infant ticket would be sent via US mail as they do not yet have electronic booking for lap infant….WTF.

That’s what I paid for 4 tickets (2 adults and 2 children – booked separately)
