Extended holiday return window:
–Amazon: Purchases made 11/01-12/31 can be returned until 01/31/16.
–Apple: Purchases made 11/01-12/25 can be returned until 01/08/16 (Verified unpublished policy).
–B&H Photo: Purchases made 11/01-01/01 can be returned until 02/01/16.
–Best Buy: Purchases made 11/01-12/31 can be returned until 01/15/16.
–Microsoft Store: Purchases made 11/01-12/31 can be returned until 02/01/16. (Verified unpublished policy).
–Office Depot: Purchases made 10/01-12/24 can be returned until 01/14/16.
–Saks OFF 5th: Purchases made 10/15-12/15 can be returned until 01/15/16.
–Staples: Purchases made 11/22-12/24 can be returned until 01/16/16.
Department stores like Kohl’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom always offer returns at any time.
Free shipping for the holiday season:
-Best Buy offers free shipping on all orders made between 10/25-01/02/16.
-Target offers free shipping and free return shipping on all orders made between 11/01-12/25.
Of course most AMEX cards come with 90 days of free return protection all year long. And it’s amazing. You’ll either get to keep the item and still get a refund or you will get a prepaid shipping label to send it back to AMEX and get a refund. It’s valid on items up to $300 and is good for up to $1,000 in returns per card per calendar year.

What happened with Apple this year?
You put an Apple link, but there is nothing under the link with this policy.

Right, it was in that link last year, but it hasn’t yet been updated this year.
However both Apple.com chat support and Apple stores confirmed the policy I wrote in the post, so hopefully that link will be updated soon.

Tj Maxx, Marshalls purchases made between October 18 and December 24 can be returned until January 24th.

@Dan: I need to return something to Microsoft that I purchased during this timeframe. Do I just mail the product in and hope that they will accept the return even though the policy is unpublished?

Just use their online return portal where it will say that you have until 02/01.
