    Just get a Mac. Use OpenOffice, which is better than MS Office.

    @macdan: Not really. Office has some features that are not in OO yet. Also the layout is much nicer and easier to use.

    its for download and if you pay a bit extra it will give you unlimited downloads for a year or something (it’s just for 1 user though, in case you switch computers or something)
    I bought it the first time dan featured it and its a pretty good deal. you can also pay and have them mail you the CD

    If you are enrolled and send them an invoice, they can approve you that way. Follow the link above, click buy now, then there is a link which says “My university/school does not provide me an email address”.
