As a promotion for the starting of S. Fransisco service, Southwest is offering new Rapid Rewards members 8 free credits (16 are required for a free RT)
Also all flights flown out of or into SFO before 10/31 receive double credits-so you can fly free if you take just 2 RT’s.

It does say it in the promo,
“Sign up for Rapid Rewards at southwest.com/rrenroll/sfo, and we’ll automatically put 8 credits into your account just for becoming a Member.”

i got the rewards, now we’ll see if i end up taking 2 flights in the next 2 years.
