As a loyal Dansdeals fan, I would like to share an update with you and your other loyal fans; a while ago you posted that if you have a platinum amex you were to choose an airline and amex would reimburse you for $200 worth of incidentals that you paid towards that airlines when you travel. This is for the one airline you choose, and it’s for the calender year. ok, so December is quickly approaching and I didn’t use my airline credit..and eveen though I will be traveling before the end of 2011 it won’t be on my chosen airline. I didn’t want to lose my $200 credit. I decided to try buying a gift voucher for the $200 from my chosen airline, and guess what??? I got reimbursed the $200!!!!

    Judah,

    1) When you put your hand on the inside can you see it on the outside? Some shirts are very see-through and some you can barely see through.

    2) Also are they 100% cotton?

    3) Some cotton shirt look pretty wrinkled even after they are ironed. Do they need a light iron to look decent or do they only look decent if they were ironed by the cleaners?

I bought these shirts for my husband around a year ago when Dan posted this. I would say they are medium in weight, not heavy duty thick and not see through. They are 100% cotton. They wash and iron very well. Overall I am extremely happy with these shirts. They are made of really good quality. My husband loves the logo and feels fancy wearing it, lol. Also whats amazing if you don’t like it or need to exchange (which I had to) for whatever reason, you can do so hassle free it’s amazing!!!! I say definitely buy the shirt. You’ll never know how amazing they are unless you get them!!!

This was the first time i ordered from there and I just received my 5 shirts – Trim Fit Pinpoint Traditional straight collar 15.5 x 34. The qulity feels great but for some reason the length of the shirt comes down almost to my thighs which is a few inches extra than all other shirts i know. Not so happy with the standard monogram. But the feel and thickness is worth the money if i have the right size.

These shirts are great – a nice smooth semi-heavy cotton. You cant see you hand through it but it’s also not super thick. It’s perfect for all year wear. But you should know that the shirt cant be worn untucked as it’s a “dress-shirt”, ie, it has that extra material in the back and the front for you to tuck in. Looks rather long and weird untucked. But a great shirt for shabbos and for the guys that like to wear button-downs every day. And the monogramming looks pretty snazzy. The silver looked nice on the white but the charcoal and black looked the best.

I prefer the white on white Brooklyn fancy shirts, which go for about $32, but much much nicer, richer cotton.

this is a plain shirt, and is nice under a suit, but a bit boring if worn without a jacket.

When you say “there is no tax”, that is not exactly true. The seller will not collect the tax, but by law you are obligated to report the purchase and pay the tax to your state’s treasury. In New York there is a line on the State Income Tax return where you do this. Other states have different wasy, but you still have to pay the tax, even if the seller didn’t collect it and even if there is no way the state can catch you if you don’t pay it.

I just called them. They said there is no way to avoid the 6.95 shipping (although I do seem to recall that I did last time but I may be wrong). They said the promo SWPPDD is for the deal. She said the reason the deal populated even though I did not put in the code is because I went from this site that is linked to the deal.

Dan your statement is misleading. I would not have purchased it for the additional 7 bucks but I wont make a big deal over it.

Kudos to Paul Fredrick!! I ordered 4 shirts, 3 for one person and 1 for another (hence a different monogram). I received a call Friday; apparently the monogramming lady wanted to make sure it was not an accident that one shirt had different initials. I confirmed that it was intentional, but I am touched that they reached out to me.
