what is best R/T coach or business to use- thinking this might be a good way to use AA miles to TlV – fly AA to LHR and then buy round trip to TLV

Dan your thoughts and please advise whether one can check luggage all the way thru.

A few corrections:
1) This schedule is only in the mid-summer. Winter schedule is far less frequent.
2) Arkia flies to STN (not LTN) and only in the summer. No flights in the winter at all.
3) El Al also flies a 763 to LTN regularly (8am from TLV in the summer), and it looks like they will be upgrading to a 772 mid-September (maybe that’s a sign of some 787 deliveries…?)

Jack out of the box

@Dan: @Reb Dave: Is there any way to do that without getting knocked out by fuel surcharges on USA-London AA mileage route?

If anyone wants to get creative there is a daily nonstop flight from Newark, NJ to Luton airport.

It will cost you more – sometimes a little, sometimes a lot – but there is nothing to compare to the British Airways service. Upto 23kg in your carry-on in addition to a 23kg checked bag, the best kosher meals in the air, at least out of London [Hermolis-Kedassia] and comfortable clean planes. As many complimentary drinks as you like including liquor with your meal. None of the other carriers come anywhere near BA and I have flown them all, except WIZZ [but I have been on them in Europe and they are everything not to write home about]. In my view Monarch is the next best. El Al, as usual, is to be avoided at all costs!
