too complicated, time-consuming, to save $5. many problems, starting with the fact that one needs to sign in using a button linked to amazon but that button is not in any obvious place. after finding the button, the item appeared in the cart but no discount was applied or was evidently going to be applied. hint: if you want business, make it easy for your customer to do business.

There is literally (not figuratively) a GIGANTIC yellow button that says log in with Amazon. The listing page has a yellow highlighted box saying where your discount will apply, and then the discount applies on the last page… This sounds more like a personal issue then the site….

I’ve also had a lot of issues with Woot … since they were bought by Amazon. For months, probably over a year now, I’ve tried to get them to fix an IT problem, but they haven’t been able to fix it. I had a Woot account since before Amazon bought them, and it was on an old email. I’ve also had Amazon Prime for quite a while on a newer email address. I *changed* my email in woot to my amazon email, and EVEN WHEN I LOGIN using Amazon it thinks I am “woot only” and won’t give me deals for Prime members. And invariably when I discuss it with them, they say “oh, just buy the item at the regular price, and pay the shipping, and THEN chat with us and we will give you a credit for the stuff you were supposed to get by being Prime” … forget it, every single time I would have to explain the issue, then calculate what the discount was, and then adjust for shipping, and then adjust the tax, and and and … no way am I doing that. As a result I very rarely buy anything from woot anymore. The oddest thing of all is, if I open it in an incognito browser, and then login with Amazon, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t work, I’d say in incognito, it might work 1 out of 3 times. But with fast moving deals, there’s no time for all that mishegas.

There are big privacy issues with AirTags. The way the device operates now will likely change in the future, because so many people are using AirTags to track people instead of objects.
