I personally would not recommend these as they work your a/c system to hard. Would only be good for someone who has pets in the house or asthma.
Its MERV 8 – thats not excessive. Why do you say it works the system too hard?
I’ve gotten that warning from my HVAC guy as well. But if you want to get the house as clean as possible, you’ll just have to remember to change these often, unlike many of us that leave them in there for months.
