JJ’s Note: For many years I lived in apartments and homes with just one oven, which I used for fleishigs. So I was left with using toaster ovens for Milchigs.
My main requirment was that I should be able to cook dinner for my family in it and that it should have a stay on option for Shavuos. And 6 years ago this search led me to find this Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven. I used it for 5 years and it worked great!
My favorite part is that it can fit two 9×13 pans at a time, when I have 2 pans in I use convection bake as it cooks the food faster. Of course this isn’t as good as a real oven and the top shelf cooks faster than the bottom shelf, but for $64 it’s pretty great. Another tip is to cover the catch tray on the bottom with tinfoil, making it easy to toss and replace to clean it anytime it gets dirty.
I purchased this exact model before Pesach and shipped it to the Airbnb my family of 20+ people were staying at. In April it was selling for $109 but it is now on sale for just $64 in Black or $69 in stainless.

Another thing I loved for Shavuos is using the top of the oven as a warming tray to keep food warm, with that I kept 4 9×13 pans warm at a time 🙂

This is my favorite oven as well. I normally put it on a timer or smart plug for yom tov so that it doesn’t heat the house up more than needed.

(though non flexible pans with handles making in wider then 13″ won’t fit IME)
This is my only toaster oven! I have one for Milchigs and one for Pesach. I’ve recommended this oven to countless friends and family. Wish I needed another one just to take advantage of this deal.

We’ve had this for nearly a decade and I also recommend to anyone looking for a good milchig oven option (particularly that fits [2!] 9x13s, and can work on YT). My in-laws were so impressed, they also purchased for Pesach.
It doesn’t have “toast” but on the rare occasion we want to toast something (usually bagels), we just do 350 for a few minutes. I’m sure Google can answer the “best” settings to toast (for those asking).
BEWARE! Not all toaster ovens are safe to stay on for extended periods. I would think most are NOT. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I am certain many remember the tragic fire with casualties caused by a toaster oven left on over Shvuos. A timer is a good idea. I would have it go on only when someone is in the kitchen.

Did it come with a small rack for broiling? It’s shown in the pictures in the manual, but it’s not in my box. I don’t actually need it, but I want to make sure it’s not used.
Mine came with two racks, one pan that fits into the the oven like a rack, and a rotisserie thing (not sure what’s it’s called!)

While this does a great job cooking, I would point out (unless mine has a design flaw) there is no hinge stopping the door from hitting the counter-top when open.
