It’s hard to find a comprehensive list of kosher stands inf sports stadiums, so here is a list of sports teams that have a kosher food stand.

Be sure to do your own research on Rabbinical supervision before heading to the game.

Bear in mind that some stadiums may have multiple kosher food options.  For example at Yankee Stadium there is the regular kosher stand and then there is a full no-expenses spared catered event with all-you-can-eat gourmet kosher food that is free for Legends Suites ticketholders.  The Legends Suites kosher food are even under a different rabbinical supervising agency then the regular kosher stand.  The Legends Suites menu also changes on a daily basis.  I was invited to sit in Legends Suites at an Indians game last year and wrote about it in this post.  Apparently it has gotten even better since then.  If you are sitting in the Delta Suites or the Field MVP club you can also purchase food from Legends Suites.

What about Lacrosse?

Chaim

Any city with a large Jewish community seems to have Kosher food available at the stadiums. LA: Lakers, Angels, Dodgers. San Fran: Giants Chicago: Cubs, White Sox. I’m sure there are much more.

yossi

It says “sports teams”, why would it list lacrosse?

Dan

@Chaim:
Can you please provide links where you see that?

@yossi:
😀

j

just google staples center kosher food. that adds a few more teams to this list – lakers, clippers, kings (hockey) and the dodgers also have kosher food just google kosher food dodger stadium…can’t believe you forgot about LA!

jj1000

The Lakers have prepackaged food. I bought one of the meals, it was still frozen and awful!!!!

Dan

@j:
Sorry but prepackaged garbage does NOT count as having a kosher stand.
I’m talking about fresh prepared food. Otherwise just bring your own and it’ll be better and cheaper.

Dodger stadium kosher food brings up articles and petitions to bring a kosher hot dog stand to Dodger Stadium. Doesn’t look like it exists.

To have a team added to the list please provide a link that shows a real kosher stand exists.

Gourmet

Chaim – Only the United Center(Bulls , Blackhawks) have dedicated kosher concession stands in Chicago. Cubs & Sox do not – they would if they were smart.

tully

Staples center does not have a stand. I am going tomorrow, and I wish they did

David

Red six bruins and celtics don’t have a stand just kosher vending machines

Blaze King

The San Francisco Giants have a Hebrew National stand, several vegetarian options and allow you to bring in your own food. There is a Safeway supermarket one block away

Dan

@David:
But it makes hot food, right? Is it any good?
As long as the food is hot I think it should count.

Oisher

US Open in Flushing Queens has one as do others.
http://www.koshersportsinc.com/Locations.aspx

Sports Fan

I know the Houston Astros have a kosher day, one day that they bring in kosher food.

Dan

@Oisher:
That’s not a sports team though.

@Sports Fan:
Kosher day doesn’t make the cut for this list.
But if you are from Htown, do the Rockets really have a full time kosher stand?

Todd

Target Field and the Mn Twins have a kosher hotdog stand under Rabbinic Supervision.
http://m.startribune.com/?id=118846754

Dan

@Todd:
Hebrew National is not accepted as kosher by most Orthodox Jews as it is not “Glatt Kosher”

Sports Fan

@Dan:
Not from there was there over the summer they were talking about it. I can find out for you…

Anonymous

Great food at Toronto Venues. Reasonable prices for a sporting event.

Dan

@Anonymous:
Good to know, I’ve been thinking of going to a game up there.

yitzy

Rockland Boulders near Monsey has glatt kosher food!

Proud jew

I am from houston. I can confirm the rockets have a kosher stand with fresh hot dogs.

me

love the random posts like this, keep em coming please!

Yoni

Th ravens do not. Haven’t in years. And the wizards don’t either. At least they didn’t as of last year

Jacob

7-11 Monsey NY on College road. (Cor. 59 rd ) Has Kosher Hot dogs.

D

Washington redskins has a kosher stand

Anonymous

Ravens kosher stand closed

tonycappuccino

The stand in the barclay center for the brooklyn nets is the best I’ve seen. Its a deli. Fresh sliced deli, you see them cutting it. + plenty of other food. There’s cookies and all sorts of stuff. Only issue is the line is always long. I’m not sure about pricing because many tickets have UNLIMITED food. I’m mean truly unlimited. So its fun. I think its called ave k deli. Non jews are sometimes on the line and asking why so long?? Doesn’t say KOSHER everywhere….kinda funny.

ds

Only one I still don’t get is the New Orleans Saints

Why?

Bob

Dan,
The Washington Redskins in FedEx Field have a Max’s stand, which is under the supervision of The Vaad HaRabanim of Greater Washington.

yigal

Rockets do not have their own Kosher food stand. Rather, they arrange for a caterer to provide Kosher food one night a year in conjunction with programing put together by the Jewish community.

Dan

@Yoni:
Wizards just got one.

@yigal:
A previous poster confirmed that there is a daily stand there now?

Bob

C’mon Dan how do we get it in la?

CAMERA_DUDE

ny rangers have

Dan

@Bob:
Lol

@CAMERA_DUDE:
That’s why they’re on my list.

Avi

The Buffalo Bills have a kosher stand. They also sell Venison Burgers there. I was there a few years back when they played your beloved Cleveland Browns.

erry

dan?in the ny mets there are no kosher shops any more?

Dan

@Avi:
I can’t find any info online confirming that.

@erry:
As far as I know there are.

broussard

@ds: @ds:

I believe it was added this season so they could be at the super bowl.

photojunky

ny rangers have one

shnoz

@dan had vending machine hot dogs at red sox game a few yrs ago, were really good, theyre grilled fresh when u order & bun is toasted

jj1000

@photojunky: I know right? I saw that on Dansdeals. They actually came out with a list of kosher stands at sports stadiums. You ever read it?

Warren

Red Sox have kosher vending machines. I believe one dairy, one pareve and one meat. Insert dollars, select what you want and 2 minutes later food is heated up!

Perplexed

What makes something kosher because there is a sign with some Hebrew words. Not every concession stand is kosher because some Rabbi put up a sign.

erry

@Dan: there is not one city park that has a kosher stand. you dont know what in the world your saying???????

Dan

@Perplexed:
As I said, do your own research.

@erry:
Was that English?

Judy

How about including Triple A Baseball? The Rochester Red Wings have a kosher hot dog stand at Silver Stadium in Rochester, NY.

erry

@Dan: yes that was English but you still don’t have a clue of what your saying!

ANON

@erry: What is city park?

yitz

Some of the comments here are absurd!! @jacob why would u tell us about a random hot dog in monsey? Maybe you should write that Kosher Delight on Ave J in brooklyn has Kosher food? This is not a list of random kosher food places. ITS FOR SPORTS ARENAS.
@Dan I think some people here are going to ask you to come to the game and wait on line for them,,,,,

Gil

@erry: Maybe you’re wrong or maybe your right, but Dan is still right.LOL

Gil

@erry: When you write, you should make sure your right.

Traveler

@dan thank you for this post. As an David sports fan and a frequent game attendee I have searched in vain for a comprehensive list. Your right, there are non. Now, I strongly recommend the deli sanwhichs at the new barclays center (Brooklyn nets) these are not your classic stadium style sandwiches; this is mr broadway action. The knishs are decent. The hotdogs are subpar in my opinion. Also, the Mexican hotdog is basically a hotdog with jalapeño slices on top.

tanteT

Ate a hot dog at an Oriole’s game about seven years ago. It made me SICK. Maybe they cleaned up their act by now….

yitzie katz

kosher restaurants gps app for iphone and android phones has many if not all of the kosher stands

Ron

@Gil: Very punny

lory

@Dan: Does the 18th ave park in BP have a kosher ice cream shop

erry

@ANON: ARE YOU STUUUUUUUUPID?

ANON

@erry: Because I know how to spell I’m stupid?

Gil

@erry:First of all that’s not nice. Second of all I think you mean Citifield not City Park.

@lory: The conversation is at baseball games. How would Dan(who lives in Ohio) know about the 18th Ave park.

alter

@David: actually I have used the hot nosh diners on many occassions ..the hot dog is freshly grilled before your eyes in 33 seconds and the bun is toasted warm seperately. It tastes better then any hot dog I have had at any stadium including yankee stadium. The food one does all sorts of different food most things in about a minute or so and they taste like they came out of your oven… The onion rings are crispy and taste like they came out of a deep fryer.. It seems to be an amazong technology…

Tyrone

Who cares if the right-wing religious nuts have their special places to eat? You lost the election, get over it.

Judah

@Tyrone
I don’t feed trolls

jason

There is a new kosher stand at Busch Stadium, it is pretty good.

Matt

@Dan Do the Cavs have Kosher food? Going to a game next week.

Rabbi Yudy Shemtov

Kosher Hot Dogs and Sausages are available at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, at Section 114. This is now run by Chabad of Bucks County. If you are coming to the Eagles Giants game today come visit us and visit our Sukkah Mobile at Lot K.

beardown

Jeff

I was in the verizon center in the beginning of March for a Washington Capitals game and I was informed that the kosher stand had closed down.

Jimmy John's

@Srulie H:
Thanks.

@Jimmy John’s:
Still listed in their fan guide.
Are you sure?

Stever

Had me in mind with the post?;)

Al

I think the kosher stand at the Saints game is gone. It was there only during the 2013-14 season when the Super Bowl was played in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Dan

@Stever:
🙂

@Al:
Thanks

Josh

@Chaim: The Cubs DO NOT have a Kosher stand.

Jimmy Johns

@Dan:

Its not under the vaad of detroit

@steve

the washington nats have a great kosher stand

Marc

@Dan: Glatt Kosher should not be a requirement for the list, as many Orthodox do not keep glatt. Many Vaads, including the one in Detroit, give hashgachas on non-glatt butchers and leave it up to each person to decide if glatt is a requirement. The question should be if it has an Orthodox hashgacha. Based on that target Field stays off, since the hashgacha is from a conservative rabbi.

ji

Oriole park has great kosher hot dogs! Anf the Nationals in washington have a stand operated by Max’s in Silver Spring and they have Shwarma!And Max’s Shwarma is absolutely amazing

Jon

@Jimmy John’s: Yes they do

David

The stand at the Miami Marlins stadium is actually a full concession (Kosher Korner), not just a stand, and it offers a variety of kosher products (hot dog, hamburger, pastrami sandwich, fries, etc…). We also offer Mincha/Maariv, right next to the concession, at every weekday night game, for the last 15 or so years.

budget

i wonder where is the CHEAPEST and where is the most EXPENSIVE kosher hotdog??

Joel B

I am a die hard sports fan with season tickets to almost all sports teams in Los Angeles. I go to a lot of games and give the rest of the tickets to an amazing (Jewish) organization called “Sharing Seats” (little plug for a tzedaka).

Anyway my point is that I go to a lot of games in California and I can tell you this… There is NO hot food in ANY venue here. It’s baffling that this is the case for such a big city but the truth is that there just not a big presence of Orthodox Jews at the games like there is in other cities.

Los Angeles Dodgers – they are getting the hot dog stand but I am not sure yet when (friends that he my seats lat night did not see it). They also have the prepackaged food which never has a good inventory and is refilled once a week. also they don’t mind if you bring in kosher food. Just tell them it’s kosher if they ask but don’t flaunt it.

Los Angeles Lakers – NO hot foot. Prepackaged replenished 2X a week.

Los Angeles Clippers – NO hot foot. Prepackaged replenished 2X a week.

Los Angeles Kings – NO hot foot. Prepackaged replenished 2X a week.

All 3 above are at staples center and sold in one section (maybe 118) staples center are the worst about bringing in outside food so you have to sneak it in. They won’t let of you get caught.

San Diego Chargers. – nothin. (They don’t mind if you bring in)

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim – NO hot food. No prepackaged Food. They don’t really mind if you bring in depending on the person. If you get denied, just turn around pretending to put it back in your car and go to another gate.

Los Angeles Galaxy. No hot. No prepackaged. But they don’t mind if you bring in kosher food. They don’t even mind if you bring in guns.

Davetex

The Houston Rockets no longer have the kosher stand 🙁

Dan

@Davetex:
Ouch, as of when?

Pretzel

The Washington Wizards definitely had a kosher last year

Anonymous

@Dan: they didn’t have it th8a past season

Joel

@Joel B:
Update – Dodgers started serving Jeffs.

high end hobo

Noting beats the kosher food at the SPG suite at MSG

Tdweck

Cardinals kosher stand has huge Hot Pastrami and knishes with gravy. 90% of the people that buy there arnt jewish because its so good (and not alot of place in St.louis, let alone Busch Stadium to get a pastrami sandwhich)

Aside from legacy suites at YS which I havent tried, SPG at MSG is the best. Except when you eat all the food and realize that it was also for 2 more yidden that came at halftime!

Dan G

At Dodger Stadium Jeff’s Sausage can be found at the right field pavilion, just next to Tommy Lasorda’s Trattoria. I was there 7/29 and they interviewed Jeff over the public address system.

G

@Jeff:
Verizon center (wizzards and caps) does not have a kosher stand but you can get kosher sandwiches by wraps to go http://www.wrap2go.com/
