Is this only on the Vostro or is it on the Inspiron and Studio too? Is this a thin and as lightweight as the studio?

The 1520 is black.
i currently have a red vostro 1520 (altho i was able to get a very very good deal)…i had an inspiron for almost 5 years before that. the vostro is not really so thin or lightweight, but as of now i’m very happy with mine!
I just ordered the red 1720 Vostro with the strongest processor available, 4 GB, 3 year on site pro support and 3 year Complete Care Accidental Damage Protection for under $1000 including tax and shipping. They told me it weighs about 7 lbs. I hope it is not too heavy and boxy when I get it and I hope the price makes it worth the red color!!!! THANX DAN!!!!

1720=About 6.8 pounds.
The 1720 has a number pad, the 1520 Does not.
@ Computer help. You might want to to reduce some specs and add the 3 year pro support and 3 year accidendal care. On a laptop this is worth alot.
