Is this the newest one ? Whys it only 4gb ? On apple website the base model has 8gb
Is this the brand new one? The specifics don’t match the base model on apple website.
Heads up, the new MacBooks are scheduled to be announced this week so the prices should drop a lot this week or next at a number of stores.
Not saying not to buy but just a consideration…
Apple convinces you to get retina display. Not sure why. I have reg screen and am happy.

Right now, the Retina MacBook Pro is being given a ‘Buy Now’ rating, meaning it was just updated and won’t be updated again soon.
If the device you want is given any other rating, and you can wait, it may pay to wait.
Also note that Apple will replace any computer with the newer version of it if you purchased it within 30 days of the new model being released. You’ll need to have purchased it from an Apple Store.
