This is a beautiful ultra high quality ultrabook, just beware that it’s 2 generations old at this point.
Is a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 better than an 11th Generation i5?

That doesnt mean anything. This is only 4 cores so its not that good, they make desktop I3’s with 4 cores.

Thanks! I’m debating going for another one. Mine (featured in the picture above!!) is about 2 years old, and although it’s held up perfectly, it endures really heavy use, and it’s going to go at some point… Wondering if I should wait in case a newer version comes out or goes on sale, or is this a deal not worth passing up. Any insight?
Tough to say. This price is excellent, but it’s not the latest version. Then again if it was the price would be significantly higher…

No, but I do have a Business SPG (yes, I don’t call it by the new B***** name) which has a 10% discount.

A great price but not a huge fan of the XPS series we had three and they all had issues. The main problem is the hinge is poorly designed so that after a couple years it breaks. Not only that but once the hinge goes, it takes out the whole frame area around it. This is only a problem if you keep laptops for more then a couple years I guess. This is a well documented issue since at least 2017 and it hasn’t been taken care of. Surprisingly this issue doesn’t get that much attention especially we know this is a problem for a lot of people because if you look at broken XPS’s on ebay they seem to all fail the same way.
On the XPS 15 we had the hard drive died and developed a defective battery. I have switched everyone over to the spectere and so far so good for ultra portables.
Still at this price tho…
