Ordered. Thank you!

I’ve had this for over a year, and when it works it’s great, but can only connect on a 2.4 Ghz wifi signal, and often goes dead… I then have to uninstall & reinstall the iOS app several times until it starts working again.

Right now I only hear the doorbell on my app but do not see any video – and am losing patience with this toy…

moe

Anyone know which of the two is better? Got the amazon one on friday.

Eli

Has anyone done research which
compared the skybell and the ring wifi?

Sara Fuerst

Is there any issues with Skybell or any other video doorbell on Shabbat since there is a motion detector?

Sara Fuerst

I just found out that Skybell has an option to stop the motion detection

Dan

Skybell and Ring both allow you to disable the motion sensor.

SC

@Dan:
I was told that even with the motion sensor disabled, it only stops sending you those alerts, but still triggers recording. Are you sure it doesn’t?

Dan

@SC:
For Skybell or Ring?

SC

@Dan:
Ring.
Also, It looks like skybell doesn’t have battery option…Ring does…

Dan

@SC:
From what people who have Ring have told me, disabling the motion sensor means it doesn’t record or send alerts.

hi

which is more durable?
is there a coupon for ring?
which is more waterproof?

thanks

Simon

@Sara Fuerst: Thank goodness burglars don’t work on Shabbas.
