I have a Note8 that I upgraded to from a Note 4 Edge last year and am thrilled with it. Thanks to its great processor and a whopping 6GB or RAM, the phone is lightning fast. The camera is amazing, and having dual cameras makes it easy to blur the background for professional looking pictures.
The phone is big, but that provides a great amount of real estate for browsing or running simultaneous apps. Plus there are easy one-handed mode shortcuts for when you need to use the phone with one hand.
The battery life is amazing. I do miss being able to swap out a fresh battery, but it seems that removable batteries have gone the way of the dodo.
Wireless fast charging on a stand is awesome. I can have it on my desk and view notifications from the very useful always-on display.
The S-Pen comes in handy for taking notes, even when the screen is off. The translate function on the pen is very cool, I love being able to easily write on a screenshot to, and even the coloring app is fun.
It took a while, but I finally did find an app that works for call recording. That functionality has helped me several times in the past with airlines and credit card companies.

Will it work on sprint? And what is the return policy purchasing from Ebay?

Would this unlocked phone be enabled for t-mobile wifi calling? Or do I need a phone that is made specifically for t-mobile (I have a t-mobile plan) to allow this feature?
If the PHONE has wifi calling, it will work with T-Mobile. I found out the hard way that some phones do not have wifi calling as a feature. I have had some unlocked (bought from a third-party) phones work just fine with T-Mobile wifi calling. I can’t tell if this phone has wifi calling (no mention of it in the specs on Samsung or on T-Mobile). If dual sim is not important to you, there is an S8 on the Samsung website, configured for T-Mobile, for $450. Because it is not specifically mentioned in any of the specs, I’d call T-Mobile and get a definitive yes or no about the wifi calling. It took me almost an hour on the phone with them to find out about a previous phone, but they have access to some place that lists ALL the specs of a phone and were finally able to tell me my previous phone was not able to make wifi calls. Unfortunately, T-Mobile support is NOT what it used to be.
You can also make calls over WiFi for free on any phone with Google Voice or Google Hangouts.
