Don’t feel so bad. I tried a minute after this was posted. PayPal wasn’t working ever. So I doubt almost anyone got it unless it was within the first 30 seconds.

I love how “Price Mistake” has a question mark next to it like there was any doubt. We could debate whether it’s halachically permissible to take advantage of a price mistake but let’s not pretend like we’re not sure if something actually is a price mistake.
There are plenty of bonafide gift cards deals being sold below face value. So, yes, the question mark is justified.

Here’s the email I got from ebay:
“We’re sorry to let you know that paypal_digital_gifts canceled your order and mentioned the reason as I’m out of stock or the item is damaged.
The seller refunded $300.00 back to your original payment method, and you don’t need to do anything else.”
I would rather they just be honest about the mistake. I think most people would be completely understanding if that were the case. Coming off as blatantly lying about them being out of stock makes me a bit angry when it seemed reasonable to me when they just cancelled what might have been a mistake on their part.

Best Buy are the biggest crooks and there is no one to talk to. They do not stand behind their word. I was just cheated by Best Buy and there is no customer service and no corporate headquarters to complain to.They lost my data and all they could say was too bad. Don’t trust them.
