American Express is a DansDeals.com advertiser.

Login to your AMEX account online to see if you have an offer on any of your cards for $10 back for spending $75+ on cell phone bills.

You can get back $10 up to 3 times, so you can make 3 $75 payments and get a total of $30 back for each card that has the offer.

So far reports are that this offer is showing up on the consumer Amex EveryDay Card, the Amex EveryDay Preferred Card, the Premier Rewards Gold Card, the Blue Cash Everyday Card, the Blue Cash Preferred Card, the Costco American Express Card, and the Starwood Card.

With the new format of the AMEX site you just need to login, select a card, and scroll down to see the offers.

If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account!  Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.  Then go quickly between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards.  Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.

Enrollment is limited, so be sure to accept the offer today.

You can also register your secondary cards for their own AMEX login and register each of those cards as well.  Sometimes secondary cards registered on their own account will have different offers than the primary card, so it’s worth creating accounts for them to check for offers that don’t appear on the primary account.

-You need to complete the spending by 07/15/15
-Valid for $10 back on up to 3 $75+ bill payments made online directly at the cell phone carrier’s website.
-Valid for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or Verizon
-Payments for prepaid cell phone purchases, plans or services do not qualify.
-Payments made via phone or at retail locations do not qualify.
-Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after July 15, 2015, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

Any idea if Verizon Wireless “Home Phone” (cellular) is included? Thank you.

yaakovl

costco amex has it too

Dani

Wondering for those of us that pay verizon cell phone together with fios if this will work. it specifically shows payment is to “verizon onetimepay verizon.com tx” can anyone confirm that it shows the same when making payment on verizonwireless.com?

Weird

Strange. The offer shows up on 3/3 accounts in my mobile app but when I login from a desktop only 1 account.

db

can someone please help me find that new format. i’m still seeing the old way.

thanks

Dm

My Costco amex doesn’t have it

Joe

Mine was buried deep inside. I needed to click to see “Additional Offers & Benefits” and then it was deep within those other offers.

Ari

So can anyone confirm if this will work paying regular Verizon phone or Fios bills?

Yechiel

My Costco or SPG don’t have it 🙁

Josh S

I don’t see it on my SPG any possibility that it will still show up

Tam

My blue cash everyday doesn’t have it but costco amex did

danfan

@ dan limit 3 statement credits means per account or per authorised user card ?

@SHLOMY

@DAN I HAVE SPF AMEX AND DONT SEE THAT OFFER ON MY ACCOUNT, ANY IDEA WHY?

Dan's the Man

None of my card have it. I got it on 3 of my Amex cards when they last had this offer last year.

Ron

@@SHLOMY: Because it’s targeted. Sometimes you get them, sometimes you don’t… 😉

JJJ

my cellphone bill is about $110 each month. i use chase ink for payment to get 5x points. so with this offer it comes down to choosing between saving $10 or getting 550 points. dan – your thoughts? 🙂

MItch

My Costco Amex does have it, thanks Dan!

Scott

I did have the offer on my AMEX Hilton HHonors card. Thanks for the tip!

mendy

@JJJ: It depends what you do with points…if you sell your points then 550 UR points are worth about $8 but if you use them for travel then i would stick with 550 points!

HDS

@JJJ

Dan has written he values Chase UR at a minimum of 0.0175 each, meaning he tries not to redeem them for less than that. At that level, you are getting 8.75% back in UR by paying with Ink.

If you get $30 back on $225, you are getting 13.33% back (in cash), plus you’ll get a few SPG/MR/cash back/Skypesos/whatever as well for the $195 you pay.

Dan

@JJJ:
You don’t have to pay your whole bill at once.
You can pay $75 with AMEX and the rest with chase.

Or just pay $75 twice with AMEX and it will cover part of next month’s bill.

menny

my spg had it, thnx dan

TDWECK

So on a $100 bill my options are $10 off or 500 Chase points. Its a toss up.

Dan

@TDWECK:
Read comment 21.

Mike

Too bad my cell phone bills are $20 and $10 each.

azhoopsfan

If you’re on a Verizon edge plan (i.e., paying for the phone in installments over time), can you create a credit balance on your account that can then be used to pay the balance on the phone owed?

ANA

Partner search is grey. any way to search?

keravelt

does this work for internet plan from ATT?

ES

Had it on my Hilton card. Check that one too!

Dasy

You can also register your secondary cards for their own AMEX login and register each of those cards as well. Sometimes secondary cards registered on their own account will have different offers than the primary card, so it’s worth creating accounts for them to check for offers that don’t appear on the primary account.

What do you mean with that ?
I have my own account ,an I also have secondary cards ,AU cards-other accounts witch I’m only authorize on ,can I set them up an register all the cards ,my primary cards -an my AU cards in one account ,or I should create seperate log In for them ?

ASDFZC

Chaim

If my cellphone bill is approximately $75 a month, can I make 6 payments of $75 now and get $10 x 6 credits immediately or do I have to space out the payments?

David R

@Dasy: You can add the cards you are authorized on to the same online account as the cards for which you are the primary cardholder.

Steve

yoely
